LWS animal park, Marsascala, Malta (Inspire)

The LWS animal park in Malta (Inspire at Marsascala) is a small park where you can pet the animals. This is not a zoo, so dont expect a lot of animals. There are no Zoos on Malta and this is perhaps the only animal Zoo type park we have found. When we visited the animal park it had budgies, goats, monkeys, deers, ducks, emu's, peacocks, rabbits and birds.

The Inspire Marsascala animal park also has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, childrens play area and a mini train ride for the children.

Marsascala things to do and visit - circular bays Il-Hofra Z-Zghira and Il-Hofra L-Kbira

There are lots of other things to do and visit in the area near Marsascala and south of Malta. From the great St Peter's Pool and some strange geology near it at Tumbrell Point and the stunning Circular Bays of Il-Hofra Z-Zghira and Il-Hofra L-Kbira. A great little sandy beach can be found at St Georges Bay, Birżebbuġa and there are cart ruts that go into the sea and are underwater!

The deers and goats have a small 'mountain' enclosure and leap about happily. Lots of baby goats and deers which is usually a good sign

Rabbits and Goats enclosure

LWS animal park, Marsascala, Malta - Rabbit and Goats enclosure. These animals live together in one enclosure with lots of activity and interaction between and with each other. If you look closely when visitng the LWS animal park you will see rabbits inside the rock pile.

There are monkeys at LWS animal park with bright electric blue testicles! Emu's at the animal park also have blue skin around their heads and necks. Why do animals have blue skin? Is it part of Catastrophe Evolution?

The LWS animal park is located at the Inspire office, Zinzell Street, Marsascala, MSK4070 (Tel 00 356 21 636 526). There is also other activities available at Inspire, they have an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and horse riding may be available.

The LWS animal park can be found on the main road into Marsascala from the Zabbar direction. More information about the LWS animal park can be found on Malta's official Tourism site.
